ECONOMY DESIGN

On Horizon Zero Dawn and the Frozen Wilds expansion I designed the entire global game economy. This included the full player progression arc start to finish, including the entire loot tree for all enemies, robots and world exploration.

I was responsible for the design of all merchant shops, player inventory crafting and the trading system. I was also charged with the full suite of inventory items spanning the ~70+ hour campaign. Core implementation consisted of extensive nodegraph work in the Decima engine as well as level design and some of the supporting UI assets.
